The German Football Association confirmed today that the (Bundesliga) will resume its activities on Saturday 16th of January without an audience, with the establishment of the twenty-sixth stage, which witnesses in particular (the Der Ruhr), between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke, and not in 15 of it as previously announced. Bayern Munich, leaders of the standings, are four points ahead of Borussia Dortmund, as guest of Onion Berlin.

Six games will be held on Saturday, one of which will be two. The match ends on Monday, with Werder Bremen meeting with Bayer Leverkusen. The League has set the 15th of this year, as the date for the resumption of local championship competitions, suspended since mid-March due to the new Corona virus, after the authorities agreed to return the matches without an audience.

Chancellor Angela Merkel announced yesterday, after meeting with the 16 provincial officials, that the activity would be resumed in the second half of this month.

The Bundesliga will be the first major European championship to resume its competition without an audience after having to stop for nine weeks due to the emerging Corona virus.
