There was renewed hopes for witnessing a third fight between boxing legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, after the two announced their return from retirement and underwent exercises in preparation for fights in the coming period.

Tyson, 53, announced a few days ago that he would retire from retirement, and posted on social networking sites part of his preparations to resume competition by running rivalries to support charities.

Holyfield, 57, joined his fierce competitor, and announced on his Twitter account that he would return to training and prepare in turn for fights for charity.

This news revived hopes of renewed confrontation between the two former champions for the third time after two meetings, the first ended in 1996 in favor of Holyfield and the second stopped in 1997 after the famous biting incident that was champion Tyson.

The two rivals brought in revenues estimated at more than two hundred million dollars, and Tyson's bite caused him to be subject to the penalty of revoking his sports license while fining him three million dollars.

A fight for charity may be the best way to erase the effects of the past between the two parties, and to put a different conclusion to the last scene that brought them together 23 years ago.
