In normal cases she had traveled around the world to compete. But when everyday life is not at all what it was before the coronation entered the world, 31-year-old Emilia Fahlin, Sweden's foremost cyclist on the women's side, can compete at home.

Literally.

"It's really weird"

Behind drawn blinds in a small one-room apartment at Bellevue in Gothenburg, she has performed three virtual races this week.

- It is really strange when you go on the bike and compete. You don't believe it before you do it, but then when you sit here in your bubble and focus on the screen, something is going on in your head and then it's competition focus, says Fahlin.
