Jae-Hong Kim, chairman of the Korea Curling Federation, has resigned.

A curling official told SBS today (7th) that "President Kim Jae-hong announced his willingness to resign to the office yesterday (6th) for a personal reason."

In August of last year, when Kim was inaugurated, the curling federation, which had been removed from the management organization, faced a vacancy again in nine months.

After taking office, Kim led the launch of the Korea Curling League and worked hard to popularize curling.

However, the SBS report raised suspicion of fraudulent recruitment during the selection of career executives, and in February, the general assembly of the delegates questioned with unskilled administration, such as ending a settlement decision without an accounting audit report.

While the Korea Sports Council is conducting audits of the curling federation for suspicion of unfair recruitment, the curling federation is shifting to the chairman's agency system to minimize administrative gaps.
