It does not appear that there will be any elite football before the public in Norway until early this autumn. Culture Minister Abi Raja announced during a press conference on Saturday that the Norwegian government will extend the ban on events that gather more than 500 spectators until September 1.
Up until now, it has been uncertain when the Norwegian high-stakes, Toppserien on the ladies' side and Elitserien on the men's side, can be resumed. And it is still not clear if it is possible to start the series without an audience already this summer.
Next week, the government will announce what applies to events that gather less than 500 people.
