His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday issued a decision to reconstitute the new board of directors for the Sharjah Club headed by Ali Salem Al Midfa, and the membership of Ibrahim Mohammed Rashid Al Jarwan, Sultan Ibrahim Askar, Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, Tariq Jassim Al Midfa, Tariq Saeed Alai and Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al Muhairi Abdullah Muhammad Al-Ajlah, Muhammad Ubaid Al-Shams Al-Shamsi and Muhammad Ali Al-Hammadi, knowing that the previous council was finally dissolved.

It is expected that the new board of directors, which included prominent sports names, will re-arrange Al-Sharqawi House in the wake of talking about the existence of differences within the club that led to the dissolution of the previous board of directors and the formation of a new board of directors.

The decision stipulated that the council distribute administrative positions among its members at its first meeting, and the council elects a vice-president from among the members by consensus, or by direct secret ballot.

The decision specified that the term of membership in the council be four years, starting from the date of issuing this decision and it may be extended for a similar period or periods. The council continues to conduct its work upon the expiration of its term until a new council is appointed, and those whose membership has expired may be re-appointed.

The new board of directors included many prestigious sporting figures who are highly respected and appreciated by the sports community and inside the Eastern Castle, and witnessed the return of the former football company president to the club, Al-Ajlah.
