There is a continuing war between the IOC and the Japanese government of the International Olympic Committee for the additional cost burden of one year postponed by the Tokyo Olympics.

The IOC said on the homepage that Japanese Prime Minister Abe agreed to pay the full amount of the cost under the terms of the contract, but the Japanese government immediately reacted, saying that this was not the case.

In a videoconference between Prime Minister Abe and IOC chairman Bab last month, the Japanese side said it did not discuss the cost issue, and insisted that it would be difficult for the IOC to reveal what was not agreed.

As the Tokyo Olympics is postponed for one year, it is expected to cost enormous additional costs of about 300 billion yen, including our stadium facilities, maintenance and labor costs, and about 3,430 billion won in Korean money.

Foreign officials say the Japanese side has expanded the IOC's announcement that it will help the financial burdens of the International Federation and the Olympic Committee on the postponement of the Olympics on the 16th. Tug of war was expected to continue.
