On Friday the idea was that the Swedish Motor Sports Association's meeting would be held. But because of the corona virus, it has been moved to mid-June. At the union meeting, the 41 representatives will, among other things, decide on whether the board should be given discharge. The union's auditor proposes that the board should not be given discharge. The reason is that the board made a US trip to San Francisco in conjunction with the Indycar finals at a price of SEK 300,000 that members were paid.

Now SVT Sport can reveal that the lawyer Mikael von Schedvin, whom the Board previously hired, consulted with the auditor to get another assessment before the final audit report - but the auditor stood up.

- I cannot confirm or resign because of the duty of confidentiality, says Mikael von Schedvin to SVT Sport.

Chairman of the Swedish rally

In addition to being a lawyer, von Schedvin is also a chairman of the board of Svenska rallyt AB - which SBF owns 50 percent - and Rally Sweden AB.

It was the audit firm BDO Stockholm that did the audit of the Motor Sports Association. Like von Schedvin, they cannot comment that they have been in contact with the lawyer with reference to the duty of confidentiality.

SVT Sport has applied for comment from the Swedish Motor Sports Association chairman Lars Pettersson.
