Stina Nilsson is the biathlon team's big recruitment this season on the women's side.

On the men's side, the much more unknown Malte Stefansson, 20, has been given a development spot in the A-national team for the coming season. Stefansson has sprung from cross-country skiing and saddled to biathlon only two years ago.

Last week, the 20-year-old said in an interview that the goal is high.

"I want to win the Olympic gold and world championships ... I want to be the best ... sorry if I swear," he said.

Believe in Stefansson

Three-year-old Sebastian Samuelsson believes strongly in the national team's new addition.

- I don't know Malte very well. But he has been in the U-team before and we have been to something in common camp. It feels like a talented guy who, if he just does the job, can be any good.

Have you been able to train anything together?

- No, I have not done that. There will be more here in the coming weeks.
