The entire nomination committee except Per-Erik Elf is behind the nominations. Anneli Lundmark is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and she says so about the elections.

- I would like to talk to the others in the nomination committee to be able to say the reasons. But the little neighbor is that he himself has already said last year that he wants to resign, that he sits a maximum of one more year, she tells SVT Sport.

But SVT Sport has taken note of email correspondence between the Nomination Committee and Örjan Eriksson where he announced in October that he wanted to remain on the Board.

Yesterday SVT Sport was able to reveal that the Swedish Motor Sports Association's board of directors went to San Francisco during the Indy car final this fall. The cost of the trip landed at SEK 300,000, which SBF members had to pay.

The car sports association's auditor criticized the trip and does not want to give the board discharge before the union meeting. Several committees and districts have also been critical. Gothenburg Motor Sports Association chairman Peter Kurtén told SVT Sport that he demands the resignation of the board.

The issue of discharge will be decided at the union meeting next week. The Nomination Committee therefore proposes that Chairman Lars Pettersson be allowed to leave his role. But he may still remain as a member of the board.

New Chairman of the Board is proposed to become Magnus Berthling.

- We have found a new chairman after we have received requests from the districts. Therefore, it becomes one place smaller for the others, says Anneli Lundmark.

All members except Örjan Eriksson are proposed to gain new confidence. Eriksson was the only one on the board to reject the US trip.

Örjan Eriksson declined to comment.
