Mortada Mansour said in statements to Al-Nadi that: "The continuation of the current uncertainty about the future of the league causes a great loss for the clubs, and the Football Association must clarify the position completely, otherwise we will announce our withdrawal from local competitions and layoffs."

He concluded: "I say to everyone on April 14th, and my words are clear, if the Football Association did not announce the resumption of the league by a specific date or cancellation, then the league for me has become canceled."
