British media reported today, Monday, that the Standard Liege player, Obi Ulari, was among five people fined for a barbecue this weekend, in violation of the Corona pandemic prevention regulations.

The Guardian newspaper stated that a fine of 250 euros (1,000 dirhams) was imposed on each of them for violating the non-assembly regulations and was forced by the city police of Hasselt, which is about 60 kilometers from Liege, to disperse.

Olary confirmed the incident but said that the New Zealand police were excited.

"It was not a party, but the neighbors seem to have called the police," the 24-year-old said. "I don't think I did anything wrong. I understand the police did their work but they shouldn't have been overrated."
