Uefa boss: "Better to play without audience than at all"

Uefa chairman Aleksander Ceferin wants to see the seasons played clearly. Most preferably with the party that the audience entails, because he says there is a big difference between whether the audience is allowed into the arenas or not.

- We can talk about financial damage, especially for clubs that organize matches. But even football without spectators in the stadiums is not the same as football with the audience, he tells ZDF.

But he still says that the option of not playing matches at all is the worst option.

- We have to be aware that we are in a special situation, and that the whole world is in a special situation. And it is still better to play matches without an audience than not at all.
