Officials of the Norwegian Football Association decided today, Saturday, to reduce their salaries to contribute to facing the crisis of the Corona virus, which is currently plagued by the country.

In addition to NFL officials, Lars Lagerback, coach of the first Norwegian men's team, and Martin Sjogren, the women's team coach, decided to reduce their salaries by 20 percent.

This decision takes effect from the beginning of next April.

About ten days ago, the Norwegian Football Association announced the suspension of all football matches until mid-April, due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

The Norwegian Federation indicated that official matches are expected to be held, whether in men's or women's competitions, at the beginning of May at the very least.
