The Football Association Board of Directors for the new 2020-2020 electoral cycle held its first meeting today, Monday, after its new formation, headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, in the open air in the Thiab Awana Stadium at the Federation’s headquarters

The holding of the Board of Directors meeting outside the closed halls came within the framework of the precautionary and preventive plans of the Football Association to confront the emerging corona virus "Covid 19".

The Board of Directors took several decisions, including the election of Youssef Hussein, the first vice-president of the federation, by voting inside the council. The presidency of the National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee was assigned to Youssef Hussein, Ahmed bin Darwish assumed the chairmanship of the Competitions Committee, and the presidency of the former International Governance Committee was assigned to Ali Hamad, while he assumed the presidency The Strategy and Investment Committee Khalfan Belhoul and Ibrahim Al Hammadi as Chairman of the Community Affairs Committee and Salem Al Shamsi as Chairman of the Status and Transfer Committee for Players.
