The decision is a joint agreement between the Swedish Volleyball Association and the Swedish Elite Volleyball Association (SEV).
The reason for the decision is the spread of the corona virus and that the government has tightened the rules recently.

This means that no Swedish champion will be selected for the first time in 58 years.
When it comes to the European Cups, they are primarily due to the winners of the 2020 edition of the Grand Prix, where Örebro's ladies and the gentlemen of Sollentuna stood as victors.
The press release also announces that no elite qualification will be played and the Swedish Volleyball Association also says that amn will investigate what will be the case regarding up and down relocation between the series.
