- It is absolutely horrible, it just must not go this way, says IBK Luleå's coach Pär Johansson to NSD.

According to Johansson, the union says that the game should be played because it is important for the table situation.

- We only have two points down to Sundsvall during the streak and run the risk of leaving, says Johansson, who during Friday night tried to persuade the union to stop the match.

- But the union has not agreed to postpone the match, and we have been told that we will find ourselves there no matter what, says Johansson and tells about the illness situation in the team:

Not welcome

- One of those suspected of being infected wanted to be tested, but was denied by the health care because he does not belong to the risk group. So it is not possible to establish that it is corona. But he and another player are bedridden, with what is like a real flu. There are also several others in the team who have easier symptoms.

Opposition team Gimonäs has told IBK Luleå that they are not welcome to the match. That's why the Luleå team stays at home.

- We don't think it's okay for the match to be played, so we've made a joint decision not to go. And even if we had done so, we would not have been let in.

On Friday, the indoor band association decided to play the basic series in the national series. However, matches that are meaningless in terms of series placement can be canceled if both teams request it. The union has a meeting on Saturday to decide on the playoffs.
