The gymnastics and fencing coach La Plata, Diego Armando Maradona, publicly supported River Plate after the decision not to attend the Super League Cup match against Atlético Tucumán due to the threat of the coronavirus outbreak, a position that the 'fluff' banking "to die".
"Look that the 'chickens' do not suit me, but I bank them to die. If the players made that decision, I will bank them to die," Maradona reiterated on ESPN's microphones. "We must protect the health of the partners, employees and the thousands of people who come to the stadiums," added Maradona.
