Caster Semenya is not allowed to compete at distances between 400 and 1,500 meters, as she refuses medication to bring down her extremely high testosterone values. Since the sports arbitration panel Cas passed the verdict last year, the athlete has been missing at the big competitions.

But now the star is returning - at a new distance. Semenya is investing in reaching the 200 meter Olympics.

"Struggling to reach my goal and my dreams"

"My dream has always been and continues to be, to compete at the highest level," Semenya writes on Instagram and continues:

"So to continue to struggle to reach my goal and my dreams, I have decided to change the branch and compete at 200 meters."

But she has a bit left to the world elite. On Friday, it was a victory in a district championship in South Africa. But the time, 23.49, was far from world-class.

Semenya must pass the qualification limit of 22.80 in order to be selected for the Olympics.

Caster Semenya was completely superior to 800 meters and took two Olympic golds and three World Cup golds in the distance before being stopped from competitors last year.
