Liverpool FC issued an official statement welcoming the decision of the Premier League to postpone all league matches, the FA Cup and women's and junior team matches, for fear of the players, workers and fans of the outbreak of Corona virus between them.

The Premier League leader said on his official website that he is committed to implementing government advice on the pandemic, pointing out that the club applies its own precautions across its sites to reduce the spread of the virus, by reducing contact as much as possible and strengthening official medical advice for all and promoting responsibility for personal hygiene.

The club also announced the postponement of the Liverpool legends match against Barcelona legends, which was scheduled on Saturday 28 of this month at Anfield Stadium.

On the other hand, Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp stated that the team will return (to its previous victories) and start again, and that everyone knows this well.

The coach's comments came after the deteriorating results, and the team recently suffered four defeats, coming out of the price of the Champions League final after losing back and forth at the hands of Atletico Madrid, Spain.

Liverpool is considered the most affected by the suspension of the Premier League, after it has been around the corner from the official coronation of the title absent from its treasures for 30 years, as there is nothing in the tournament list that does not guarantee crowning the title in the event that the season is not completed.
