And before the FIA ​​announced, the championship team, "McLaren", went yesterday to withdraw formally from the race, after it was confirmed that one of its team members was infected with the virus, and it was followed by subjecting a number of other team members to prudential examination, including the status of 14 members of the "McLaren" team. As a result of the repercussions, all the teams participating in the championship held an emergency meeting in the early hours of this morning, before they agreed with the organizers of the race, the Formula 1 World Championship and the FIA ​​to cancel the opening round of the 2020 season.

The team, "Mercedes" this season, defending its title in the World Championship for Manufacturers and Drivers, had publicly confirmed shortly before the official cancellation, by asking the "group that owns the rights of Formula 1" and "International Federation" to cancel the race.
