The national team star: "Had great confidence in Ylva"

Ulf Lundberg is, as of today, Wednesday, the new union captain for the Women's Crown.

Ylva Martinsen got fired after two years. The reason was lack of results.

"I'm really disappointed because I wanted to continue," she told SVT Sport after the message.

Now she is supported by her former players.

- It came quite suddenly. I had no idea if I should be honest. I don't really know what to think and think. I had great confidence in Ylva and she for me. It's boring, says HV71 player Hanna Olsson.

Luleå's Emma Nordin agrees.

- I had great confidence in Ylva and she for me. I don't know very much what the basis for the decision is, but hopefully there is a good plan for the women's crowns anyway, ”she says.
