Yesterday, the news came that the Norwegian long runs Birkebeinerrennet and Reistadsloppet are canceled due to the corona virus. This means that only the competition in Finnish skiing Levi in just over three weeks remains of the Ski Classics long run.

- It has become a very strange situation. It is perfectly right to set the rules and I support the decision, it is a must when such recommendations are made, but it is obviously very boring, says Johansson Norgren, 36, to SVT Sport.

She leads the cup with 150 points ahead of Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes before the finish in Levi and needs to be at least 19 if the Norwegian wins. Johansson Norgren has been six this season as the worst, so even though the management is not safe, the Swede holds the key and can the combination.

- Now we do not know if the season is actually over or if there is a competition remaining in 3.5 weeks. We haven't made a decision about what's going on with it.

Johansson Norgren continues to train and is vigilant about the development.

"Feels great to have won the cup for the fifth year"

How does it feel to have almost, almost won the cup?

- It is clear that it feels great to have won the cup for the fifth year. But I would have preferred to do so with a win in "Birken" and a good ending. Since I still lead with 150 points, it has shown that I have made a good season. It would have been fun if we had been able to drive Levi, that they had at least got to drive and win in that way. Now it becomes a bit of a twist that it is not decided on the whole season out.

Then the training begins for the next season?

- I would think so. We will discuss the arrangement but it looks like it will be another year.

So you're thinking about not driving another year too?

- It is clear that I did, both last year and this year, that it would be my last year, but something always grows during the season that there is little to improve me and it is fun that I still keep up with the development , which I think is fun to see even though I'm not 20 anymore. Admittedly, it gets tougher and tougher for each year and competition is higher.
