A banner installed on the Pierre bridge by the Ultramarines. - Clément Carpentier / 20 Minutes

A year and a half later, they decided to do it again. The Ultramarines deployed this Tuesday morning banners throughout the city to alert the situation of the Girondins of Bordeaux as in September 2018 before the sale of the club.

Banners hostile to King Street, the American investment fund which owns the club, but also to the current management. Place Pey-Berland, Pierre bridge, Saint-Jean station… Several banners have been installed on emblematic places with explicit messages: "King Street Out", "FCGB: the pride of a derelict city", " FCGB: a monument in danger ”,“ Longuépée. Thiodet, this way the exit ”…

Our association of more than a thousand members, this morning again, remembered the good memories of the town hall which supported this disastrous project and which today does not deign to respond to our analysis of the situation unlike the others candidates .. @ nflorian33 #KingStreetOut pic.twitter.com/IlhDN4uwX1

The latter is particularly aimed at the club's CEO and its ticket manager with whom the largest group of Bordeaux supporters is in conflict.

To challenge municipal candidates

The Ultramarines seek to challenge the Bordelais but also the candidates for municipal elections in the countryside. If some responded very shyly to the concerns of supporters, they also hope the same from Nicolas Florian (LR), the outgoing mayor, who already received them for his part a few weeks ago.
