Previously, the regular season ending in Italian Cortina has been postponed after concerns about further spread of the corona virus in the country. Today it also became clear that the men's final race for the season in Slovenia will run without crowds.
"Following a decision by the Slovenian Ministry of Health, which says that all sporting events must be conducted without crowds, the men's world cup competitions in Kranjska Gora on March 14-15 will be held without spectators," the International Ski Federation writes in a press release.
The World Cup competition in Kranjska Gora is André Myhrer's last career as he finishes after the season.
The women's season finale happens in Åre this weekend.
