The management of the Saudi Al-Ahly Club is in trouble due to the detention of team player Djanini Tavares in the Emirates, and his inability to not return to Jeddah due to the decision to temporarily ban travel between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, according to Saudi media.

Al-Riyadiah newspaper pointed out that the Al-Ahly administration is looking for a way to transfer the Cape Verde striker to another country outside the Emirates, in order to provide access to Jeddah.

She added: "The player left for Dubai on a short vacation, to return on Monday, but the decision to temporarily ban travel between the UAE and Saudi Arabia due to precautionary reasons due to the spread of the Corona virus, hindered the return journey."

And she added, "Al-Ahly’s administration will transfer Djanini to another country whose citizens are allowed to travel to and from the Emirates, and then to Saudi Arabia. After arriving in Jeddah, you will search for a legal and medical exit, avoiding the player being removed from the house for 14 days, according to the announcement of the Saudi Ministry of Health.”

She pointed out that the player was absent from facing cooperation, in the 22nd round of the Mohammed bin Salman Cup, in the King Abdullah Sports City stadium in Buraidah.

And she concluded: "The club administration is working on that Djanini participate in the team's training next Thursday, in order to prepare him to face the upcoming victory in the semi-final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup in Jeddah."
