Eliminated Saturday, reinstated Sunday. The Mulhouse Scorpions ice hockey team will be able to poke the ice again. Discarded from the championship under the pretext of the coronavirus epidemic which affects the Haut-Rhin and the health measures imposed, the Scorpions are finally authorized to resume the play-off of the Magnus League. They will play the quarter-final against the Amiens Gothics on Tuesday in Cergy-Pontoise (Val d'Oise) and possibly play a seventh match the next day.

The federation explains having taken "the decision to freeze the series with the score acquired on the ground", which effectively eliminated the Scorpions, led 3-2. "A painful but responsible decision to make," she explains in a very detailed press release.
