The match of the Champions League of football between Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund scheduled Wednesday, March 11 at the Parc des Princes will take place behind closed doors because of the coronavirus, announced Monday the Paris police headquarters.

"In application of the measures announced in defense counsel last night, the Prefect of Police has decided that the match #PSGBVB will take place behind closed doors," wrote the prefecture on Twitter.

With 1,126 cases of contamination and 19 deaths according to a report provided on Sunday, France is the second epidemic outbreak of coronavirus in Europe after Italy and has taken a series of measures to try to curb the spread of the virus by notably prohibiting gatherings of more than 1000 people.
