Yesterday, Modo was a positive surprise. In the club's account, it had raised SEK 500,000 from an anonymous donor.

But the gift is linked to a requirement.

The press release where Modo talks about the money also states that these must not be used for either elite or senior business. All the crowns and the eagle must be used in full to create more resources to develop the girl hockey in the club.

The money is already used next season

According to Modo's press release, today there are ten percent girls in their youth business aged 6-14. Something that can be more with the gift.

“Right now, work is under way to fully set a strategy and organization for this work that will take place in the long term. We will already have activities under this project during the next season, ”comments Modo's CEO, Johan Widebro, the gift in a press release.

"We are extremely grateful"

The association also thanks the anonymous donor.

“We are extremely grateful for this gift. With this money we can work with long-term and long-term efforts to get more girls to start playing ice hockey, not only in MODO Hockey but in the entire municipality of Örnsköldsvik, ”says Modo's CEO Johan Widebro.
