Axnér has been training Lugi's men's team since 2012, with breaks during the 2014-15 season. He has never coached a women's team.

According to P4 Skaraborg's information, Signell will take over IFK Skövde's men's team in the highest series next season after Jonas Wille who goes to Danish Mors-Thy after this season. The club has called for a press conference on Wednesday.
Signell has been the league captain since 2016. His contract expires after the Olympics this summer.
