For Sweden, the mixed relay ended in minor, but Hanna Öberg impressed with her shooting. So much so that the shooter Johan Hagström said:

"Hanna is perhaps the best in the world today," he said in SVT's broadcast.

"Really cool girl"

Since the gold medal in 2018, the 24-year-old has continued his journey upwards. Something that the competitors have intercepted. Öberg shot fully and the horizontal series in 25 seconds while the standing was over in 18 seconds. There she stood out against Norwegian star Tiril Eckhoff (41 + 25) and Italian home runner Dorothea Wierer (29 + 23)

- She's a really cool girl and is really strong for being so young. She can do really well at the World Cup. I have a good feeling about her, says Dorothea Wierer to SVT Sport.

"Really strong"

And here she gets support from teammate Lisa Vittozzi, despite their somewhat frosty relationships.

- She is really strong, is a good skier and shooter. I wish her the best at the World Cup, the Italian tells SVT Sport.

"Many good competitors"

When Öberg hears about the praise, she laughs.

- Yes, it's fun to hear that the competitors believe in me. It's very much about performance. But then I have many good competitors and just the two are among the sharpest, although there are many about it.

The Swede himself does not want to talk about placements or thoughts on medals, but tries to keep his feet on the ground.

- It's about what I'm doing right now and here. That is what I have done well in my career before and not focused too much on results, placements or medals. I think that's the key.

- I learned a lot from the World Cup in Östersund. A championship is a long way where you have many chances. Although not perfect at first.

- For example, I was four in the sprint, just a few tenths of the medal. Obviously it was acidic, but I was immediately set on the fact that it was a good location before the start of the hunt. There are many such things that I bring with me.
