The last Hanna Falk competed on snow was during the World Cup in Falun in March last year. After a problem with her back for a few years, she was operated on for hernia in the fall. After a long rehab period, the 30-year-old today made a comeback in a freestyle sprint in Lycksele.

And it was a success right for Falk. The Swede was second in the qualifier behind Johanna Häggström. Falk then won both quarterfinals and semifinals.

In the final, she was pitted against, among others, world-cup-winning Hagström, Maria Nordström and Jennie Öberg. But nobody could go on a comeback Falk who was half a second ahead of Hagström in goal. Trea became Moa Olsson.

The Sweden Cup in Lycksele continues with a 10 kilometer freestyle on Saturday. The mini tour then ends on Sunday with 10 kilometers of hunting, classic style.
