To open a facility to deepen LGBT understanding for the Tokyo Olympics and Para. 6:22 on February 12

In conjunction with the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, a facility to deepen the understanding of people with sexual minorities such as LGBT will be opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo in April.

At the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, the vision of the Games is to create an opportunity for a symbiotic society that accepts differences in gender and sexual orientation.

In response, LGBT will be established in mid-April at commercial facilities in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and will be named "Pride House Tokyo 2020".

At the facility, there will be an exhibition introducing the history of LGBT, as well as lectures by athletes who clarify that they are LGBT.

It is also used as a place where LGBT people and supporters from overseas can interact.

These facilities have been set up at the 2010 Olympic Games since the Vancouver Games, and will be open for the longest five months until the end of the Paralympic Games in mid-September.

In Japan, it was first set up in Harajuku, Tokyo during the Rugby World Cup last year.

The owner of Pride House Tokyo says, "I want to make people who come to Tokyo know about LGBT widely and aim for activities to create a legacy of diversity = legacy."
