Dubai Sports Council announced the criteria for nomination in the eighth session of the "Sports Excellence" award for two seasons (2018-2019) and (2019-2020) to win prizes this year.
The Dubai Excellence Model, which was launched yesterday, contains seven basic conditions for evaluating the target groups of athletes, clubs and football companies to choose 16 winners, to honor them in the ceremony held specifically for that occasion, whose date has not yet been formally established, and the Dubai Council will honor the entrepreneurs. A statement issued by Dubai Sports Council said, "The sports excellence model aims to develop administrative and technical work in clubs and football companies that fall under the umbrella of the council, and motivate club departments to excel and launch initiatives that enhance their results and develop their impact on society in general and the athletes category in particular." .
The statement stressed that: "The eighth session includes all aspects of sports, administrative and service performance of clubs and sports companies, as it focuses on the concepts of innovation, commitment to sportsmanship and societal contribution, and the integrated care of sports talents to ensure sustainability in achieving sporting results in the long term."
He pointed out that: “The model was adopted as a basis for evaluating the institutions that fall within the decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, regarding the subjection of government sports institutions to the supervision of Dubai Sports Council, where the model took into account the difference in The nature of the work of clubs, sports companies, and qualitative clubs in a way that guarantees fairness in evaluation. Categories have also been included to evaluate and honor athletes of all groups and in all sports, to support and motivate athletes in the Emirate of Dubai to achieve distinguished sporting achievements, and to highlight them to be an example to follow. The statement indicated that: «Dubai Sports Council made some adjustments in the evaluation in the light of the results of the seventh session, as the new evaluation depends on the results, performance and achievements of two successive seasons, and the qualitative clubs competitiveness with other clubs was added to the award of the best sports club, taking into account the measurement of criteria that It applies to qualitative clubs only, and the score for them is calculated from 100% in those standards, and categories of institutional and individual excellence have also been developed.
The statement pointed out that: «The eighth session is characterized by several main characteristics according to the results achieved by the club or the company, which will be provided by the relevant authorities directly without the need to submit a request for participation by clubs and companies, and the information that is required to be provided by clubs and sports companies is limited Participate in the club's or company’s strategic and operational plan and an outline of innovative and community-based initiatives.
The statement emphasized that the difference in the nature of the athlete has been taken into account in both sports clubs and sports companies and quality clubs to ensure fairness in competition and evaluation.
4 criteria for the Best Audience Award
The Mathematical Excellence model outlines several criteria and conditions for awarding the Best Audience Award to the company with the highest total score in institutional competence, sportsmanship, sports facility, and community activities.

The extent of the club or company’s implementation of all institutional activities is evaluated in ways that ensure optimal investment of different resources, both human and material.
3- Integrated Care for Talents 15%
It specializes in the extent of performance and results of academies affiliated with football companies according to technical and organizational axes, and based on the results of the performance of registered players, who were escalated to the first team.
4- Sports facilities 10%
It focuses on assessing the quality of sports facilities and services provided to players, the public and users of sports facilities.
5- Community activities 5%
It is concerned with the initiatives and programs that have increased the participation of all segments of society, including families, women, children, the elderly, people of determination, and others in sports activities, whether as a practice of sport or as an audience.
