Adam Metin, a Syrian boy who did not reach the age of sixteen, was forced by the circumstances of the war in Syria to come to Turkey in difficult situations, and he did not imagine at that time that his dream would be born after the suffering of this suffering, as his star quickly dawned until he became called the Messi of Turkey.

Adam was born on January 15, 2004 in the Syrian city of Hama, and immigrated to Turkey in 2013 due to the outbreak of war there.

Metin has a great talent in playing football, and in Istanbul he had the opportunity to start realizing his dream in the world of the round witch, to start his career after meeting Alai Kessler, President of the Soma Aslan Gojo Sports Club in the ancient Turkish city.

Later, Matin obtained Turkish citizenship in 2015 after the approval of the Council of Ministers and the adoption of the decision by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The young player wore the shirt of Aslan Gogo team in Istanbul, and likewise in many sports competitions, and he attracted the attention to him.

His great talent and diligence paved Adam the way to join the Turkish junior team in the 14, 15 and 16 age groups, and he presented with him distinguished levels.

After that, he signed a professional contract for 2.5 years, to play for the Turkish club Sport, who plays in the Turkish first division, to achieve his first dreams.

An uphill journey
About this trip, Metin says: "I sought a great deal to sign a professional contract with a first-class club in the Turkish league. Turkey embraced me and looked after me, I am very lucky."

He added, "Everything was difficult in the beginning. Thank God, I managed to overcome the difficulties and succeeded, but I still have a long way to go."

Regarding his escalation of training with the first team of his new club, Metin said, "It is a wonderful thing and a different feeling. We have excellent players like Lucas Podolsky and Sinan Gumusch, I talked to all of them, which gave me high confidence and gave me great happiness."

Metin explained that in the next stage, after playing with the junior team, he aims to succeed with the Antalya Sports team, and to wear the shirt of the Turkish national football team.

"My ultimate goal is to play for the first Turkish team, perhaps this is the dream of any player, because participating in the first team is a different thing. I will do what I can to achieve that," he said.

He pointed out that he saw big Turkish players, such as Cengiz Onder, Hagan Chalanoglu and Caglar Soengu, who were making achievements in major European leagues, hoping to meet them soon in the first Turkish team.

And from the rest of his dreams, Matin made clear that his football idol is the legend of Argentina and Barcelona's club, Lionel Messi.

"When I was young, I dreamed of playing for Barcelona. Of course I cannot become like Messi, but I want to create my own phenomenon in the world of football," he said.

The Syrian-born Matin expressed his desire also to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to express his gratitude for his support to him, which strengthened his dreams in the world of the round witch.

On the successes of Adam Metin, Alay Kasler, who is also a faculty member at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences at Istanbul University, indicated that they have received many offers from clubs inside and outside Turkey that wish to include Adam in its classes.

Kessler pointed to the solid enjoyment of great talent in addition to his good manners, noting that President Erdogan is following him closely and will meet him at the earliest opportunity.
