The weather has meant that several competitions this winter have either been canceled, moved or postponed.
Now it's time again. Today the organizers announced next weekend's big slalom and slalom competitions in Maribor must be moved. Instead, the ladies are allowed to compete in Kranjska Gora.
“The snow and weather conditions do not guarantee the successful completion of the competition on 15 and 16 February in Maribor. Therefore, we who are responsible had to make this decision so as not to risk a racing weekend, "says the international ski association's controller Markus Mayer in a press release quoted by various Slovenian media.
