It was less than three months ago that the ladies striked over, among other things, wages and working hours. This would mean that all players are guaranteed a minimum salary of almost SEK 180,000 a year.
The parties reached an agreement in December, but the agreement has not yet been signed, mostly due to the fact that the TV agreement has not been negotiated clearly, and now the women players have tired.
- The players have been patient but without an agreement they have suffered damage, says the players' union according to AP.
