Frölunda got off to a heavy start when Mountfield took command and made 1-0 after just under seven minutes of play by Petr Koukal, and the crowd in the loud arena of Hradec Kralove lifted the ceiling.

But that would be the last time the home fan would be cheering for goals. And it was already in the first period that the foundation for Frölunda's victory would be laid. In three minutes they scored three goals, creating a head start that would be too big for Mountfield.

Frölunda led the entire match

For the Czech team did not have much play, and it was Frölunda who ruled and put in the match and the home team had to adjust to it. But despite Frölunda continuing to create offensive, the leadership did not grow. But despite only separating two goals, it was never close to Mountfield recovering, and Frölunda won relatively comfortably by 3-1.

The title was Frölunda's fourth in the Champions Hockey League in five years.

- It's been a crazy trip here. Fourth victory, it has swung up and down, but we have not stopped believing, says captain Joel Lundqvist to SVT Sport.

The Frölund captain chooses to pay tribute to the team after the victory.

"If you have to go all the way and win, this kind of team effort is required," he says.
