2–4 against top team Frölunda last Saturday was Roger Melin's last match as coach for Leksand. Today, Leksand announced that Melin may go, and will be replaced by NHL legend Ulf Samuelsson.

- It is an exciting challenge to come to such a classic hockey venue and association with all the support that exists around the team. It will be fun to get into it and give the iron and contribute everything I can because we will have a good end to the season. It is a tough situation we are in, of course, but we have many matches in a short time to come and there are many points available to fight for in the series yet, says Samuelsson in a press release, and continues:

- We will reverse the trend and get good momentum in the group, and I am very tagged and ready to fight hard for the association.
