She noted that athletes often had to explain that mutual respect is the IOC priority and philosophy.
“It doesn’t matter what the situation is: political, intrasports or personal, at the time of the award ceremony, at the time of the performance, you must behave respectfully,” the famous athlete added.
Earlier it was reported that the IOC Executive Committee approved the punishment of athletes for protests at the Olympics.
