According to the press service of the International Hockey Federation (IIHF), the Russians will perform in Group B together with the teams of Sweden, the USA, the Czech Republic and Austria.
Group A will play teams from Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Slovakia and Germany.
The tournament will be held in Canadian Edmonton and Red Deer from December 26 to January 5.
The winner of the MFM-2020 was the Canadian team, who beat Russia in the final with a score of 4: 3.
