“In connection with the development of events in the region, the US team decided to postpone the trip to Qatar, where training camps were to be held in January,” a statement on the federation website said.

The 20-day gathering in Qatar was due to begin on January 5th.

The U.S. Football Federation is looking for other venues to prepare for the upcoming matches.
