- I think Sweden is very well coached and despite being individually clearly worse they stayed for a long time in the match. Thanks in large part to Hugo Alnefelt occasionally playing big in the goal and being effective in powerplay. But game five against five, Russia was clearly better, says SVT Sports expert Mikael Renberg.

Sweden scored three of its four goals against Russia in games in numerical superiority compared to Russia which scored a goal in that form.

- The deportations favored Sweden. Had there been minor expulsions in the match I do not think the match had gone to extension.

Junior crown star forward Nils Höglander, who before the match topped the points league, suffered a match penalty after only 03.04 in the first period. That after he tackled Grigori Denisenko in the head.

Mikael Renberg believes that this had a negative impact on the Junior Crowns.

- Then it is difficult if in the end it became crucial. But Höglander, together with Samuel Fagemo, has been the junior crown's best offensive player in JVM. It always affects the team when you need to change and it is never good to lose such a leading player so early in the game.

- Now it is very depressing and it has to be. Then you get to have a meeting tonight and gather for it is a big difference to come home with a bronze medal compared to finishing four. But right now, the guys have to get bull litera.
