The American Football Association has postponed a training camp for the team that was to be organized in Qatar, due to developments in the Middle East.

In a statement on Saturday, the American Federation said that it decided to postpone the team's travel to Qatar, in order to organize a training camp in January, due to developments in the region.

On Friday, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed Soleimani’s death in an air strike that targeted two cars on the Baghdad Airport road, as directed by President Donald Trump.

Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy chief of the Popular Mobilization Committee, and eight they were accompanying, were killed after the attack, which sparked outrage in Iran, which vowed a "harsh response."
