As teammate Elias Pettersson is also selected for the Pacific team, this means that Vancouver, for the first time since 2012, has two players in an Allstar match.
Four teams, one per division, with eleven players were selected for the Allstar tournament. The matches are played with three outside players and a goalkeeper.
Some other Swedes have also been selected this year, namely Tampa Bay's Victor Hedman and Anaheim's Jakob Silfverberg.
Fleury is forced to relinquish the final match before the Allstar stay, or the first after, for Vegas.
