The Swedish goalkeeper made a decisive save as Jonathan Huberdeau had a huge position to sign with only 15 seconds left of the third period. But after a spectacular sideline rescue, Ullmark was able to save and Buffalo won the match by 3-2 at home.

It was not only Linus Ullmark of the Swedes who played a significant part in the victory. Marcus Johansson assisted both Conor Shearys 2-0 goals as well as the match-scoring goal that Sam Reinhart did in powerplay. There also Rasmus Dahlin had a passing point.

Buffalo, on the other hand, lacked his Swedish target shooter Victor Olofsson, who will be gone for at least five weeks as he sustained a lower body injury in his meeting with Edmonton last night until Friday.

Olofsson was named the rookie of the month in the NHL in October and November. In a total of 42 NHL games this season, he has scored 16 goals and 19 assists.
