After Christmas, Luleå Hockey has defeated both the Frölunda series two and the series Färjestad. In the final match of the year came a new victory for Luleå when the bottom team Leksand were defeated 2-0. It was late until the end of the second period before Luleå cracked the goal zero. After 17.03 Jonas Beglund played forward Karl Fabricius, who pushed 1–0 from close range behind a chanceless Janne Juvonen in the Leksands goal. The goal was Fabricius' 100th goal in SHL.
