Crystal Palace striker Wilfred Zaha is known for his exceptional skills and dribbling, but there is another side of the Ivory Coast striker that only a few know.

The 27-year-old Ivoryian striker is similar to the "Robin Hood" character who takes from the rich and gives to the poor.

"I try to give back and do my best to help the poor ... donations go to the needy in England and Ivory Coast," he says.

Most of the money goes to the "Hope of Tomorrow" orphanage set up by his sister in Ivory Coast. This home provides housing, food, clothing and education to orphans and provides them with a family atmosphere.

The "Eagles" superstar established his own charity that helps children in England and Ivory Coast play football in good conditions.

It is noteworthy that Zaha grew up in a non-existent environment and in a family of nine children, and these difficult circumstances that he suffered in his childhood taught him the meaning of helping others and donating to the poor.

On his childhood, he says, "My passion for football gave me strength to do something I love, which is to help people like me who did not receive any help when they were young ... I know very well what it means to be destitute and nobody gives you a hand. I hope I will succeed in drawing a smile on some people's faces. Realizing my dream to be a professional football player motivates me to help others ... I love football and give everything I have on the pitch, but I know that one day I will have a different path to my life with my charity, my family, my friends and the people close to me. "

Crystal Palace is ninth in the Premiership ranking table, and in the 21st round of the tournament, Norwich City will meet.
