Ozil .. The story of the struggle of a poor Turkish immigrant who stood against injustice and racism and raised the World Cup

Masoud Ozil is the star of the Arsenal team, not only a football player, but also the story of a struggle where he transformed from a migrant child to a poor Turkish family who immigrated to Germany, to a champion crowned the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and one of the European football stars.

Ozil, of Turkish descent, was born on 15 October 1988 in the German city of Gelsenkirchen, in a difficult atmosphere for migrants, forcing his father to work in several low-paid jobs in order to support his family.

Ozil's passion for football started from his early childhood by playing in the neighborhood where he lived for long hours, hoping to become a professional player and lift his family out of the poverty they were living in.
