Lebedev lost to Mchun by a decision of the judges

As part of the boxing evening in Krasnoyarsk, Denis Lebedev lost to South African representative Tabiso Mchun by unanimous decision.

The first half of the battle took place in an equal fight, but in the second part Mchunu began to inflict more accurate attacks and control the course of the battle. In the 12th round, Lebedev went to bargain in the hope of a knockout blow, but failed to win.

The judicial verdict was in favor of Mchunu - 120: 107, 119: 108, 115: 112. The South African won the WBC Silver belt.

Lebedev suffered a first defeat after resuming his career. The Russian announced his departure from boxing in the summer of 2019, but soon changed his mind.
